AI Features
Enable AI Chat
Allow xNotePadAI to process your notes with AI so you can ask questions about your content. Notes are chunked and stored in a vector database for semantic search.
When enabled, a 🤖 Chat button appears in the editor header. You can query your notes conversationally.
🔒 Confidential Content
Text wrapped in <!-- CONFIDENTIAL --> markers is never sent to AI. Use the 🔒 button in the formatting toolbar to mark sensitive sections.

Connected Apps
AI agents (Claude Desktop, Cursor, ChatGPT) can read and write your notes via MCP. Each app gets a unique token you can revoke at any time.
